(no subject)
I know that they were just trying to see how things are, but come ON! Yes, Derek and I have been dating for almost 3 years now. We have known each other for about 3 1/2 years. Yes, I am out of school but you all must remember Derek is not. He still has the last part of his senior year to finish, a visit to England, and needs to get a job. (and so do I)
I know that there have been a lot of weddings in the past couple of years and people have been either still in school or immediately out of school. But, that does not mean we are getting married anytime soon. Yes, it has been hard on me watching people I know and my friends get engaged and get married. And yes I admit that I'm a wedding web-site junkie (I like pretty things). But, when almost everyone that I see now-a-days asks me "oh do you have plans" it kinda gets fustrating.
When I tell people "no" their reaction makes me feel like a bad person. It is not taboo to not be married or engaged yet. Trust me!
Thank you all for asking and wondering about my life I really appreciate it, but trust me when I have a lots of big sparkles on my finger you will definitely know about it! You will probably get annoyed with me because I will tell you fifty times! :) And make you sit down and listen to all the plans. :) You have been warned. ;)

Really thanks a lot for asking cuz it means you care but please realize that it’s not a big deal if we aren't planning on getting married just yet. We have lots of life experiences to still experence. :)
