(no subject)
I just finished a midterm and it's really hot here...seriously like 100 degrees. But I wanted to say how awesome Friday night was. I drove with Kara up to LA at about 2 in the afternoon and didn't get there till 6, which sucked, but then we went to UCLA and met up with kara's friends for this talent show UCLA was having. So the show was really cool, really good student bands, but the best part was that James Taylor was there to recieve an award. When he came out to thank everyone, the audience started chanting "sing sing" so they brought out his guitar and sang impromptu! It was so amazing, seeing this music legend right there, singing for a bunch of college students. He sang Country Road and Sweet Baby James...and I admit I don't know all his songs that well, really just the famous ones, but it was such a treat (dorky word) to see it.
I saw molly too, which was so cool...didn't get to hang out with her for long though...i want to go to ucla! k my comp is about to sign me off cuz it has a virus. gotta go bye.
