I am a pack rat but sometimes it is so interesting when I stumble across stuff like this.
From my psychology journal, dated 9/7/04
Who are you?
I am a student and an athlete.
Who else are you?
I am a sister, daughter, niece, cousin, and granddaughter.
Who else are you?
I am a young woman with dreams of the future.
Who would you like to be?
A college graduate.
Who were you three years ago?
An insecure, self-conscious freshman.
Who do you pretend to be?
A model classmate and daughter with no problems.
Who are you really?
A teenager with all of the insecurities that come along with it.
Who are you to your best friend?
Someone to laugh with.
Who are you to your teachers?
A model student.
Who are you?
A young woman trying her best.
So Mr. Becker did do something for me, after all. This journal and the autobiography are reminders of how far I've come since that high school hell-hole and a reminder that I haven't gone as far as I want to.
There's also some stuff in there that I don't recall at all - like this
Can you think of anything in your future about which you already anticipate being angry?
When Aunt Jenny tells Nana the truth or when Evan kills himself
I have no idea what Aunt Jenny wasn't telling my Nana. (Evan hasn't killed himsef - yet - he's back in jail though)
And some stuff that makes me laugh.
If you could meet yourself 5 years ago, what advice would you give yourself?
You don't know everything, stop being such a bitch and GROW OUT YOUR BANGS.
What incident in your life would you like to block out?
Don't know - CAN'T REMEMBER IT.
I LOL'd so hard.
Anyways, that was a fun distraction from my homework. Nose back to the grindstone....
