When traveling to Dublin....

When traveling to Dublin, it is a good idea to reserve a hostel. It is a doubly good idea to reserve a room in a hostel that actually exists. Yes, you read that right. The full dramatics is behind the cut; Abby and I are physically safe (though emotionally exhausted), as is my bank account. We met quite a few Irish angels this weekend.

holy shit Jess..I'm so impressed at how you handled stuff this weekend. I probably would have just cried and given up at the first oh shit moment. I'm glad you were in Ireland, because there are a ton of really nice people. But the hostel thing blows. Like a lot. I think triple checking the places you are staying from now on is a great idea haha. Be safe in the rest of your travels.

wow! Very glad that didn't happen to me when I visited Dublin three years ago. But Trinity College, Guinness Brewery...*sighs* all that does make me remember those awesome times. Dublin is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, I swear!

Sorry to hear you had that kind of a bad experience but yes, stuff like that does teach you life's lessons. So it wasn't that bad after all ;)
