2 more weeks down, about 8 more to go. Oh man I cant wait!
So heres a recap of my weekend:
Friday I worked and got home at about 6. after getting home, my aunt came over a bit later. Its nice that shes home. I was supposed to go over to a friends place because she was having a party. Her mom is moving out and living with her new bf that she has only known for about 8 weeks she says, and now her mom is selling the house that they lived in and moving to burnsville. My friend now will have to find somewhere else to live for the summer, cuz her mom just sold her house. Sounds interesting. Anyways, she was having a party and called me to tell me that I should come, I was thinking about it, but I really just didn’t want to be drinking that night, and then have to drive home, and stay up all day Saturday too. So I just stayed home Friday night, and enjoyed the time watching movies with my aunt. Nothing wrong with that in my mind. Just as much fun.
Saturday was the big day for my grandparents. 50th anniversary party. Damn, 50 yrs is a long time to be married to someone, but they are extremely happy people. Its great to see. Atleast at this point I know that it can be done! So the party was at their church. It really was quite nicely decorated. Everything was just really nice. A lot of their friends, and of course most of the family came! A lot of ppl I havent seen in a wicked long time. I never was a huge fan of going to family reunions. I always found a way to get out of them. Hehehe. Oh, I finally got to see my cousin’s little one, taylor. Shes about 4 months old, I think. So cute! Blah, blah, blah. You are bored already, so ill spare you from hearing about the rest of the night. It just included a bonfire and all that good stuff. Anywho.
So Sunday came. The week had been absolutely gorgeous, and Sunday was too! My brother and I decided to go to the lake, and meet a friend up there. Mille lacs lake is my favorite of all of the lakes in this state. Such a big lake! Its really nice, we just spent the day cruising around on the lake. I had a great time. And best of all I didn’t get burnt while I was on the lake. We got back, and I showered and headed on over to charlie’s. now that was freaking awesome. I hadnt seen charlie, peter, andy or kaitlin yet this summer. There was a lot of friends at his house. Of course somehow the guys got the whole story of my first yr of college out of me. Stories were told of frat parties, drinking, friends, classes that sucked ass, and of course of the bf and all that good stuff. Andy was giving me shit for working in the plumbing dept of menards when he says that I know nothing about plumbing. It happens. And kaitlin is soo freaking hilarious! Just a great night. I was laughing the whole time!
So today I somehow get the day off too. 3 day weekend. Hell, ill take that! I got home late last night, and didn’t go to sleep for awhile after I got home either, so I pretty much just slept in til 11. I had woken up at 9, but then I guess I went back to bed. I had some really weird dream too. It was something about showing up late to work, and idk, just really weird. Kinda scary that im dreaming about work on my day off. I guess I like the place? Hehe. Umm, so I got up, ate some of my dads dq icecream cake that I got him for fathers day., (the man has everything, it was my only option of getting him something that he would like the most) then after while my dad calls me. He told me that he was over at the friends house and got another helmet so that him, my bro, and I could go riding on his bikes. But now its raining : ( I was gonna wash my car too today. Im sure that it will stop eventually I guess. Oh well.
In other news, I got a package in the mail today : ) such a great bf that i have :D
