I haven't updated my lj in such a long time! I'm not even going to try to recap everything that's been going on since I last updated, so I'll just type about recent things... I spent the majority of last week trying to pack my things to move into my new house. It was actually a pretty difficult task because me and my stepdad had to take turns watching Ben and packing, so it took along time. Friday my grandparents all came up to try to help us pack, then Saturday my mom's parents helped move us in. On Saturday morning my room was only like half packed, but I didn't get in trouble and managed to get it all out in some way or another. Now, I'm just stuck with tons of boxes to unpack. I HATE unpacking I'm really tempted to just leave alot of it in boxes and search for things when I have a need for them. I must say that I'm really excited though, I like being down in the basement alone..it is a little creepy at night though..lol. I don't have window blinds yet, so I'm a little freaked out about sleeping down there until I have something over my windows. I also still have a ton of things I need to purchase for my room because I'm completely changing the style of my stuff. So far I have ordered a new comforter, pillows, and a floor lamp. BUT, I still have to get a new bed, futon, chest of drawers, nightstand, and wall decor. My walls of my bedroom are a funky chartruse color, I'm doing alot of browns in there and I want to get alot of Warhol prints to put up. Luckily I have a pretty good idea of what I want, so it shouldn't be too much trouble. The most time consuming thing I have to do is scrape the red paint off the entertainment center/wardrobe thing I want to put in my room...I dread it, but I think it will look good when I'm done (hopefully). Well, I've had a very long day so I'm going to bed...everyone wish me luck for sleeping in the basement alone! :P
