GW Crafts and Angst
Last week, I got a call from some lawyer's office that I owed money for some ticket that I supposedly got in Bexar County but I've never had a ticket! So I go down (an hour and a half away) to straighten at out and they see my license and are all like "This is you. It has the same signature." So I start thinking, maybe this has something to do with when I lost my wallet last year and sure enough, this ticket happened a month after my wallet went missing. Thank goodness I canceled my CC's but they had all my info as listed on my emergency card. Anyway, to make a long story short, I have to come up with $500 for the fine. That's a MONTH and a HALF of rent!!!
So my only viable option is this: Sell. Sell! SELL!!
Item 1: Plushies
So far, I've raised $40 with my plushies that will look like this (I will only make 25 23) and these are priced at $22 each OR $40 a pair. (more pix of this to come)
Item 2: Sell Magnets
These will be at $7 each or $12 a pair
And finally,
Item 3: Speeding Dragon
The idea came from a lady I met that came up with the name after I told her about the situation while I was at a sewing meetup. I already had a Dragon I made for my sister and she thought it would be cute to name it 'speeding dragon' and make more to sell.
For the Dragon, I'm taking donations, but they do take me about four hours to make... so I'd like the minimum donation of $25 for time and supplies.
On a related note, the items might not look EXACTLY as pictured. Every item is hand made and the materials (like fabrics) may be different, subject to availability. Which means, every piece is one of a kind <3
I might end going on etsy.com for this, but I'm not sure.
