I'm finally declaring what has been obvious from the get-go: I'm not going to be able to finish Sky's Legend of Zelda cross stitch before her wedding.
It sort of pains me to say it, but with the issues that I've been having (I've messed up the count SO MANY TIMES, used the wrong color twice, etc.) and the sheer size of it, it's not going to get done.
I'll try to have it done by Christmas this year. If not, I'm going to get work on it in between projects and give it to them for Christmas 2014.
I'm pretty ok with the whole throwing in the towel thing. I have another project to keep me busy. (This time it's for azure_horizon's birthday.) And I always have (at least) two other X-Stitching projects that I can hop back to.
But still...it sucks to give up. :P
