Well, it's 4AM and I'm still not in bed yet! I mean, I guess I could be but I procrastinate so much...it's not even funny...and for those of you that know me very well know this ^_~ I also need to read "Dr. Faustus" I really should have had it read by now because I have a quiz on it tomorrow, but have I???? I think we all know the answer to that one. Anywayz, on to talking about my wonderful yet tiring weekend.
Well, the day before my weekend started (Thursday<---doh people) I went to all of my classes, which went very well by the way, and then I just went home to stay for the afternoon. I think I have mentioned this before but Lauren and myself had a performance in acting class that day, and if you ask me I think it went VERY well... considering the fact that we had not gotten together the night before or any other time before our actual performance. It was all because I had decided to go home Wednesday afternoon (like that of my every day school life) It was a good thing I decided to go home too because I started feeling so sick that night. I couldn't even stand up my gut hurt that badly! I was suppose to have gone back to school though for my good friend Amber Jackson's audition for the play she will be directing: "Fancy That!" I couldn't go though because I felt sooooo bad! Anywayz...moving on! After acting class I went to Spanish. We were suppose to have had a quiz that day, but of course I didn't really get the chance to study because I was really sick the night before......but seriously, I got REALLY REALLY REEEEEALLY lucky! Turns out that our professor, Esther, didn't have the quizzes because the french professor that makes up our tests had not given them to her yet. We waited on her to bring them but she never came!!!!! HALLELUJAH!
Friday morning I woke up and left for my Art Survey class, which I am always late for! About 5 minutes late every day....I know that has to get old.. but I really am going to settle back in at school because driving back and forth does tend to make things a little difficult. Then I went to my Old Testament class, and I always dread going to it. After that class was over I decided to go home because my one o'clock had been canceled.<----so called "library day" Then I decided to go back to school and help Meg(one of my roomies) set up for her slumber party she was throwing. I decided I shouldn't stay for it because I had sooooo much work that needed to be done before the next day came. So, when I got to school Meg's door was open....but she was sound asleep. So then I decided to call my other roomie(Amanda) and talk to her for a little while. After I got off the phone with her I decided that I wanted to take a nap too. I was really tired from driving back and forth every where....and let me tell ya something....it is VERY tiresome! A little while later, Meg got up and she saw me laying down on the couch. So, she went back in her room and got me a pillow and a blanket from her room *HUGGLES* wasn't that sweet of her? Then after she got finished vacuuming she got me up and we went and picked up the food. After that I dropped her off and went back home. *WHEW*
The minute I got home I got online and my good friend Alicia was on! She IMed me and gave me the details about the Renaissance Festival. I was so excited about going that I couldn't even stand it. I really could't sleep that night, which was not a good thing cuz I had to get up by 9.. so that I could leave by 9:30.. just so I could get there by 10:30ish or so. That's what time she told me she was coming to pick me up anyways. I got there late too...of course! It took me longer than I thought to get ready and I left at about 9:30ish or so. I would have made it right on time but traffic was horrible and there was major road construction going on in Ellenboro. When I got there they were circling the apartments for the second time around, and it was a good thing I had just gotten there or they probably would have left me.
On the way there, Me and Mark and Alicia all talked and just had fun...although, I don't think Alicia liked our ghosts stories too much^^ When we got there, we were greeted by a flag man with 500 feet!!!! (major inside joke) After we parked we all headed for the entrance. I was just so excited because this would be the 3rd time that I had been to the Renaissance Festival. When we got inside we met up with some of their friends that I had never met before----->RJ and Chris. After we had payed for our tickets we started walking around and watching all the different shows they had. There was one in particular...."presnol" or something....I can't really recall, but it was suppose to be "Rapunzel" The whole story was just confusing because the guy said it as if he was speaking in another language...AKA:: telling it backwards or something like that. The funny thing about it was that when he was telling you the story, you knew what he was suppose to be saying but it would come out sounding as if he had said something else! At one point he said something sooooo shocking that my jaw hit the floor...well, just about! Then the guy looked at me and said "don't tell me that you have never done "that" before!" My face turned soooo red and I had never been soooo embarrassed..partly because everybody was looking at me!!! After that, we had planned to go to the joust...but sadly we never made it there because we got too caught up in what we were doing. Mark and Alicia even had an archery contest and whoever lost was suppose to kiss a llama! While they were battling it out, Chris and I talked about school and other stuff. I think he was really nice and fun to hang out with, but I'm pretty sure he got the impression that I hated him...that was not the case at all though! Sometimes I just don't know how to act around people I am just meeting with for the first time. After that, we all went and ate a bread bowl. One of the best parts about the Renaissance Festival in my opinion! Then we walked around the back way and just watch the little kids play in the bubbles. Then we walked back over and RJ wanted to do the little trampoline bungee jumping thing, but while he did that Alicia and I went to the sky chairs. After that we went back to find them because it was time for my favorite show of them all....DON JUAN and MIGUEL!!!! They are just soooo freakin' awesome!!!! While we were there Chris looked at his watch and told me that we had missed the final joust...I was upset but not too terribly. DON JUAN and MIGUEL made up for it! They even told a really REALLY funny joke: Do you know the difference between a shower curtain and toilet paper???? (I dunno, what?) SO, YOU'RE THE ONE!!!!!!!! HEHE! After that we went and saw the Tortuga Twins and I would NOT recommend them to anyone! They were so obnoxious and they held us there for way way WAAAY too long. I was kind of distracted though because I saw this girl that greatly resembled my friend from Animazement, and the whole time I was trying to figure out if it was her or not. After they were finished we made our way back to our cars. I talked to Chris on the way back and I really got the feeling that he thought that I didn't like him at all because of the way our conversations went, but I thought he was very funny and really fun to be around. I really enjoyed hanging out with all of my friends. I got to spend time with Mark and Alicia...which was GREAT because I never really get to spend a lot of time with them. I really hope I get to hang out with them all again, especially RJ and Chris because I NEVER see them. On the way home I fell asleep, but it was pretty painful because my neck went to sleep and every time I woke up I had the worst crink in my neck.
When I got back to my car I really wanted to take a nap...but I knew I needed to get home. BESIDES..I really wanted SOMEBODY to IM me, but sadly I didn't hear from THIS certain person ^_~ So when I got home I checked to make sure they weren't online...or something like that. Then I packed my stuff up and drove up to Lake Lure around 12AM that night. I didn't get there until around 1AM. Well, today wasn't really worth talking about because it was just REALLY boring^___^ PLUS..this has gotten way to long anyways, and I apologize immensely for my tremendously looooong post. I'll tell you one thing though...I definitely plan on staying around campus more often. I definitely need to start eating in the CAF again. At least then I get to see more people. I really do like the people at Gardner Webb.....I just.....hate staying there because there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to do there and I am constantly bored out of my mind. I may go bug Alicia more....hehe! AND who knows...I might end up joining pep band *WINK WINK* Well everybody..I think it's high time I went to bed. G'nite everyone..and if anyone is just crazy enough to get to the end of this CRAZILY LONG post..GOD BLESS YOU and I LOVE YOU!!!!!! XD
