Well, Christmas went fine. Of course, I didn't get everything I wanted but I got most of it. I was broken hearted that no one got me the Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again DVD. I asked someone for that. I don't know who I asked though. :0) Ashley got me Outback Gift Certificates. I was all excited. She brought me my present at work on Christmas Eve and earlier that morning I had told my Mom that I needed chocolate. Well, I didn't need it, I wanted it. So, when she dropped my present off to me, I opened the first box and it was a three-towered holiday box of Hershey kisses. I was all excited. Then I saw the Outback gift certificates, then I got excited even more. Yay! After that Candace brought me my present from her. She got me some Sweet Pea body spray from Bath and Body works. I love that stuff.. She also got me a cute picture frame. Before I had to punch in, Emily gave me my Christmas present from her. She gave me hand soap and lip balm from Bath and Body works and she "regifted" to me Amber Romance body spray from Victoria Secret's. Then later on that afternoon, BJ brought by my presents. I was disappointed that I picked out the wrong size in my American Eagle hoodie. So I have to exchange that whenever I can get to the mall. Between my Mom, Grandparents in St. Albans, and my MawMaw, I got clothes, money, jewelry, and entertainment items. I was pleased with the gifts I got this year. However, I found myself spending more money on my Mom that I have ever spent on a single holiday for her before. I got her a new 19 inch TV that she wanted. It was one of those things she would have to save up for because on top of saving for my college books, she saves all her extra money in case of emergencies. It was well worth it. She likes it, so that is all that matters. However, my Dad on the other hand really doesn't appreciate Christmas presents. I only got him a couple things he needed like a package of white T-shirts, razors, and shaving cream. I'm not going to list everything I got everyone because if I did, ya'll would be here forever. But moving on, Thursday, I received the news that I couldn't drive until the neurologist appointment. It was originally scheduled for January 31. Could you see me waiting another freakin' month to drive my car? My Mom called the doctor's office and told them they had to move that appointment up. So, now it's January 13, and I cannot drive till then. So basically, I'm stick with my parents toting me around where ever I want to go and to work and back. Yep, that's my entire Christmas break (minus 5 days). Please tell me how pissed I am about that. The only reason that I cannot drive is because the EEG results were sent to my primary doctor and since there were sharp and long waves present in the graphs, that he couldn't read, he suggested that I wait until the other doctor's appointment to get behind the wheel of my car. So, Miss Independent here is Miss Dependant and it is driving her INSANE!!! I told my Mom that my Dean's List (4.0) Report card, just didn't matter anymore because my Christmas break was going to be a total bore. I ended up telling Theresa to schedule me long hours at work because I couldn't go anywhere myself. Then I noticed the schedule and I think I'm off Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Very f*cking funny! (I can deal w/ two days off cause they are my scheduled off days, but three?!)
