i'm updating because a very nice person by the name of kat sent me a postcard in which she hinted that i ought to update more often.
so! my update!!
life is really good. well, not in the exhuberant bouncing off the walls nonstop "really good".. but i am content. and i am ok with that :) UR is starting to feel like home, altho there are times when i get frustrated by the fact that so much of my life is confined into, like, a square mile or 2. last night i went to rockapella, who was A-MA-ZING. anyone who spent their childhood watching "where in the world is carmen sandiego?" would appreciate this, since they are the ones who sang the theme song AND the folgiers coffee jingle. but they covered some other stuff too and it was all really good... i think i will have a complex the next time i try to listen to normal a capella.
today my dad came and took me out to lunch at stony point on his way home from d.c., which was nice. it was weird seeing him again when parent's weekend was only a week ago, and then its funny to hear myself say that it's a lot to see my parents once a week. once in a while i have these random revelations that are something along the lines of OHMYGODIMACTUALLYINCOLLEGE.
on a side note: i have yellowcard tickets yaaay! jen and i invested in the cd last night so we might actually recognize some of their songs (don't scoff; sometimes these things are necessary.) this was after a harrowing experience in which we got lost and thought we were going to die --these things always seem to happen when i'm driving-- and ate at the sketchiest wendy's i've ever seen in my life. it was great fun, actually.
one of my wisdom teeth is coming in. it kind of hurts.
i'm going outside now because its gorgeous and i'm starting to see signs of my deathly pale winter look, which is extremely depressing seeing as how it is only october. at this rate, i will be invisible by december.
