Here goes...
First, Erin, I updated on August 27 as well, but you obviously weren't logged in and therefore didn't see the entry since it's locked. I'm leaving it unlocked just for you :)
You know how when you're riding in a car, or a train, and you look at the ground and everything's traveling really fast so it's all just a blur? But if you let your eyes travel with the ground, even if it's just for a split-second, the things that are traveling past you become really, really clear. Yeah, that's what I need in my life right now. That would be really nice.
Anyway, spent the weekend in NYC with the family. It was a lot of fun, though I truly missed hanging out with my drunk freshmen. They apparently missed me as well, since I came back to about 20 drunken messages on my door from them. They're really fabulous.
I saw Spamalot, Spelling Bee, and Wicked (for the third time.) They were all great. I think I enjoyed Spelling Bee the most, but all three were wonderful. And my brother really enjoyed Ave. Q, which was good since he says he "hates" theater. I just had to pick the right show... Anyway, NY was really wet though, so it was a gloomy weekend in that respect.
Last week was pretty hellish work-wise, so this week won't be too bad. Just a philosophy paper.
