*holidays in the south side*
the countdown has officially begun~ 1.5 hours until flocks of family members parade thru the front door, decked with gifts and God knows what else. my twin and i are anticipating the time until we lock ourselves behind our bedroom doors and wait for our parents to drag us out to meet, greet, get our cheeks pinched like there's no tomorrow, and share "quality family time". now, lets define "quality family time" according to my parents:
*quality family time: crowding together in an exceptionally small living room on the eve of christmas and other such holidays, discussing everything from school down to who married who's slutty neighbor and who knocked up who, while getting drunk off of egg nog and mashed potatoes and passing around the craziest assortment of useful gifts ive ever seen (these useful gifts included a leather whip last year...)- and this is excluding the tacky family traditions that virgin ears must never hear about...
*mike gave a holla today, bringin with him me xmas gift- had a nice lil exchange, but not opening it up till tomorrow
*stopped by melissa's and since no one answered the door, i leave the gifts right out there, waiting to be stollen or shot at: or both
*visited me favorite bottle of heinz's love today- coley gave me the coolest shiz ever and it touches my soul coley
*alright.. let the countdown continue on
