So I just went to the local strip of shops for lunch. I was indicating to go into a car park
and it got taken by an old man. I put my window down and tooted he said, what? I said, I was indicating to go into that carpark, you just took it and he goes, theres another one up there what are ya dumb? Extremely loudly. Many people looked.
So i drove off, and went around, and parked facing him. I got out and took a pen and paper with me then proceeded to take down his registration number. He came up and asked what I was doing that for? I said, I'm allowed to, there is no law about recording people registration numbers. And he goes, what are you going to do with it? Are you a cop? And I said that's not something you need to worry about right now. He goes, who are you? I said i'm the woman you just called dumb.
I then went to the dry cleaners, the chemist and popped in some scripts, put dry cleaning in car then went back to the chemist where he was in line waiting for his script! I was perusing the shelves while I waited, he was most confused and worried about my loitering holding my bit of paper for my script, which he probably thought was still his number plate details. Anyway, I watched him leave, go to both cars, probably note down my number plate (what's he doing with it? i'm not doing anything with mine... I mean... i have ties.. and if i actually wanted to do something I guess I probably could... but I'm really just hoping he will just be a little worried about his rude outburst and lack of politeness and observation of indicators and be less rude in the future.
I still want to go back and lecture him about how I'm generations younger than him and I should be the one looking up to his generation for displays of politeness and how to act and its very sad that he is such a horrible old man and I feel sorry for his family!
