I just downloaded a much, much, much better podcatcher. The one I had blew. I won't mention the name of it in case anyone out there is a fan...

I now have iPodder. So much better and easier to use. My last one wasn't feeding stuff directly and when I would try to update it, it would freeze. I tried finding some troubleshooting hints, but nothing

You get the feeds from Podcast Alley or Podcast.net. I've only used the first one. It automatically downloads everything for you and places it into whatever player you're using. You can then listen on your computer or on whatever portable device you have.
