Get off the roads all. For I am the proud new owner of giant shiney killing machine. :D
It's a 96 Holden Astra, automatic, 1.8L, with rego til March next year. I got it for $4990 from a dealer. Paid $2k in cash from my credit card, and have to give them another $1k this week out of my big savings account - for the rest they are doing finance for me, paid off fortnightly. I wanted more finance but lack of employment + still being a learner counted against me, boo. But yay I has car! I did look at cheaper cars but I really liked this one. It has power steering and aircon and lots of rego (which many of the cheaper cars do not have), and it feels really light and easy to drive. azmodai compares it to driving a go-kart. Damn elitist manual drivers :P
Anyways now I want to drive it all the time, but I cannot as I don't have my P's yet. So I need someone with a license with me in the car whenever I want to drive. :<<< However I should be able to get in lots more driving practise between my weekly lessons now, which means P's shouldn't be too far off at all. yays ^_^
