(no subject)
It's been a while. I've been busy, I think, but I couldn't tell you what with. It's finals week (sorta) with one final due Sunday night and my last one on Monday. Classes resume with Java II, Data Structures, and College Math II. bleh.
I finally turned my living room into a real living room, too.

Some of you might remember that there was a little bit of stuff in my living room. The before pictures are actually from before I moved in. My old living room consisted of two torchier lamps (pictured), one large picture, one coffee table (pictured), several framed photographs (pictured), and my computer desk.
The new entertainment center is an early Christmas present from my mom, which I have been putting to good use. All video is routed to the 32" television and all audio is routed to my 5-disc 5.1 surround sound system. Components include dvd player, vcr, playstation2, gamecube, and my new laptop. I've copied all of my cds to mp3 and shared them on my wireless network so that I can stream music or movies to my laptop which I can connect to the surround sound. Yay for portable music! Now I just need to get a VGA to TV adapter so I can pipe video out from my laptop.
WoW is going pretty well. My Druid is nearly level 20 already, which makes me happy, and I've made a lot of progress in my various professions. I still have a lot of the world left to explore, but even solo I'm gaining levels at a decent pace, so I think I'll be trapsing through the wilderness to these 'undiscovered lands' soon enough. Also, yay for beating monsters to death with a hammer! :D
That's pretty much everything for now. I'm going to try and get out into the world this week and/or next week to take some photos. I've got a feeling I've got a hectic work week ahead of me. I'm excited for Thanksgiving. I'm excited (and a little nervous) for Christmas. I want it to be January so I can do my taxes. I want it to be January so I can get a raise. I'm hoping above all hope that my site management perks will get bumped up to the level that all the rest of the managers receive. blah.
