Warning: Contextless. Fictional. Crappy. Do not read.

"Go ahead."

"Okay. So, I was thinking about a hybrid chocobo."

"What, like breeding a 'Purple' from a Red and Blue? Jumps high and crosses rivers? I don't know if that would be all right."

"No, no. I mean a chocobo/bull hybrid."

"A bull? As in cattle?"

"Yes."

"I don't think that would work."

"It could be done through gene splicing."

"By who?"

"Shinra. They have the technology. It's possible."

"Sure. Anything's possible. Why would they, though?"

"Why wouldn't they? It would have the strengths of both species, yeah?"

"I don't know. I'm not a scientist. I don't think they do much of that without Hojo around, though."

"Maybe it's a rogue geneticist... somebody who followed Hojo's work."

"If it's a rogue, where are they making these hybrids?"

"A rogue genetics lab, set up underground. They could install cybernetics there, too."

"Okay. Have you considered getting her next level spells?"
