I know I hardly update but I got this in my email and wanted to share it. Couldn't figure out how to put it in a myspace bulletin because I'm not that cool, so I figured the next best place was here. I almost NEVER forward emails and stuff, but I know of at least a few stupid people at O'Connor who this should probably get to...can anyone make it a myspace bulletin??

Anyways, here it is:

Show this to your friends, family, children, grand children or great children

This young lady was recently on Oprah and what a loving, forgiving young woman she is ! An amazing story of what she has suffered and will bear the rest of her life. Please share this with your friends and especially your teenagers who are driving.

This is Jacqueline Saburido on September 19, 1999.

This is she and her Father, 1998.

This is she on Vacation in Venezuela

Her Birthday party as a child.

At a party with friends.

The car in which Jacqueline traveled. She was hit by another car that was driven by a 17-year old male student on his way home after drinking a couple of hard packs with his friends.

This was in December 1999.

Jacqueline was caught in the burning car and her body was heavily burnt during around 45 seconds.
After the accident Jacqueline has needed over 40 operations.

With her Father, 2000.

Getting treatment.

Three months after accident.

Without a left eyelid Jacquie needs eye drops to keep her vision.

Now 20 years old, he cannot forgive himself for driving drunk on that night three years ago.

He's aware of devastating Jacqueline Saburidos life.

Not everyone who gets hit with a car dies. This picture was taken 4 years after the accident and the doctors are still working on Jacqueline, whose body was covered with 60% severe burns.

Let's make as many people as we can aware of the consequences of drinking & driving.

So yeah. Not much else to say about that.

In other news...this is the second time today I have gotten in a pissed off mood because of how stupid people can be. Drunk drivers and...ignorant people who think they know what they are talking about but really have no idea.
So annoying. Today in English we had a "discussion" about immigrants from Mexico, which turned into a heated argument. I didn't think it would make me so freaking angry, but it did. With comments from ignorant white rich O'Connor students making  extremely generalized comments about Mexicans and freaking out about this being "our country, not theirs" and how "they are taking OUR jobs and OUR space" and sounding insanely and irritatingly selfish and stupid...I was ready to punch some people in the face, seriously. People who think they know everything should realize they don't and shut the heck up.

IN OTHER NEWS! *deep breath* Things are going good now. Had some issues for a while there that no one, and I mean NO one (okay, except Danny and Caitlin) knew about, and they took a toll on me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Luckily, they are pretty much over and I'm feeling altogether better about it all. For a while there, things were crazy and I have to thank my amazing and wonderful boyfriend and my amazing and wonderful Caitlin for helping me through it. As for the rest of you, sorry I was even more antisocial than usual and I hope you don't hate me forever for not confiding in you.

Um...I'm in love? Who wants to come to my wedding? Seriously though, although little issues spring up randomly (like most couples, except those of you who never ever have issues with your significant other  and are FREAKS. Jk...kinda.) , things with Danny are wonderful over all and I'm happy.

School is still pointless and boring, with the exception of my cool friends, which mostly consist of my lunch crew and other choir nerds. Like I told James Uriah, those who were seniors last year are people who I miss tremendously but I have not been in contact with at all because I suck at keeping in touch with people. Get in touch with me! Or come visit me at school. I do still luv you guys you know.

PROM is coming up and I don't have a dress. But at least I have a date and a group to go with. And they are planning everything, so I don't have to worry about that. I really should go shopping for a dress though, soon. As for choir banquet, I'm just going to wear the same dress I wore last year, because I like it.

sooooo yeah. Ready to graduate. Be done with this nonsense. Even though that will probably mean I will have absolutely no friends. But hey, going to UTSA, so I will be back to visit my juniors often.

Choir pre UIL concert coming up on Tuesday, then UIL on Friday. Yay fun? Come see us, k?

I guess that's all for now. I really should update more often, it's kinda fun. :)
