SDCC makes my insides go funny.
Ok, so SDCC news has driven me into a bit of tailspin.
First- Honey and Clover has been licensed! But it's by Viz. Urgh.
Second- Darwyn Cooke is leaving the Spirit, my favorite comic book at the moment. Will Eisner's work defined all modern comic work, and Darwyn has done a great job living up to it. I was sure I would not read past Darwyn's run....until today they announced that Jeff Smith will probably take over. Yes, Jeff Smith of Bone fame. Commence squeeing!
Third Doctor Who comic book! With the Tenth Doctor. But it's from IDW. And the companion's Martha. And the promo image first posted didn't inspire much confidence. But then more promo sketches were leaked. And the artist has drawn several Roses, giving me hope that she'll make flashback appearances or better. :)
And someone made Dan Didio must die t-shirts. Ooo.
Though there are no reports on the Torchwood panel. *pout*.
