This is a super historic storm we are getting tonight. The only thing keeping the viewing area from getting 2-3 *feet+* of snow is the fact it's October 29 and not December 29. With the ocean temperatures still in the low 50's, the storm will be working with temps very close to freezing for most of the storm.
That means a heavy, wet, pasty snow will fall and it will will stick to everything. Would not surprise me to see many power outages around due to most of the trees having leaves still on them and being dragged down due to the snow and wind. Oh yeah, did I mention 20-30mph sustained winds with possible gusts to 50mph+ in exposed areas? This is a true blue nor'easter gang.
There even could be many reports of thundersnow in and around the Boston area at the height of the storm late tonight and early tomorrow.
