gold flakes and mistakes...

...hey y'all. thanks for patience. no i didn't get lost in tokyos 50+ train transit system. i've been really busy, working, trying to have fun, and learning learning, always learning. so, the internship is going ok. yes, i learn things there, but it is becoming tiresome and timeconsuming. not sure how much longer i'll stick around. they did through a pretty good halloween party which i got to enjoy as a VIP for free. so that was good. my picture is also in this weeks issue and up on the website. so check it out:

so, these days, i've been wroking on a scarf as it's getting quite cold. it will be finished soon, but i am a bit nervous about casting off. we have great new 100yen shop in my 'hood where i bought all my knitting supplies ultra cheap. i've also been mawing on chocolate with gold flakes on in. extra yummy. my japanese is progressing, slowly, but progressing. i was invited to play footsal with my japanese language exchange/friend, kumiko and her buddies. should be a good opportunity to practice some nihongo and try out a new sport. um, it sounds kind of like mini soccer. i'll let you all know what that's all about. oh something else i learned. old people dont lawn bowl here, but they play a game called 'gateball'. i dont really know how it works, maybe it's kind of like crocket combined with something else, soccer perhaps? a 'combover' is called a 'barcode'

as for the mistake. well, i think i took on a bit too much. with full time work, the magazine and the dvd magazine. maybe i've let some people down. i know i've been hella frustrated. and well, it all eats into my sightseeing time...a good lesson learned. well...i bet i have lots of sorting to do....my room's a mess and so is my computer.

i miss you all
