rain, rain, rain...

i have to assume that we are now in the rainy season. even though it was raining a whole lot a few weeks, apparently it wasn't yet the rainy season since the calendar didn't say so. yup, in japan, they really like to go by the books on these things. no t-shirts until it is officially summer even if you're sweating your ass off..hmm, anyhoo, it's been rainy. i like this weather, more so when i don't have to go to work. it is a really refreshing change from an unforgiving sun beating through thick haze. at least the colour of the sky seems more appropriate when it rains because the sky looks exactly the same on a sunny day. i think that kids in tokyo must wonder why the sky is blue in picture books and cartoons. i've been alright and not so alright at times. i guess now that i am starting to realize just how easy my job is, the amount of time i spend there is a bit of a downer. so i am trying to refocus on why i am here. why am i here? i guess it was sort of a self indulgent thing to do. so, i am trying to focus energy on indulging. i'm not talking about shopping or eating, so much. i guess i am trying to take advantage of not knowing too many people here and not having too many responsibilities. i have a lot of side projects on the go...i might not be able to do this when i have a real job. i download a lot of music and i am addicted to the L word. i am really excited that i finally got the 6th episode. i know what i'm doing tonight..i havent anything much exciting to say. i have decided against moving. i just didn't want to deal with it, and paying more rent, and having roaches, etc...so now i'll read on the train...i and i have my eye on a hot little mp3 player from sony...it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.
