(no subject)
This week is/is going to be a good one. Yesterday, I finished painting Rachel's room- I painted it beige. Boring, but practical. For a room we barely use, at least I don't have to deal with it when we move out. I think the only other room I'll repaint is this one (the computer room)- I doubt my landlord or the new tenants will like mustard yellow. BUT who knows when we will move out anyway? In my mind, I toy with the idea of buying a house within the next year or so. Since we will be in CT for at least another 4-5 years. SO anyway, then I worked last night which was fun ( I like Monday nights because we get all the new releases in and it's fun to put them out). Today I am free all day until I have to work at 6. In the meantime, I'm going to clean Rachel's room (I know she doesn't live here anymore, but I still call it her room) and rearrange the furniture and such. I have to go pick up a vintage chenille bedspread I bought the other day and wash it so I can put it on the bed in there, I have A TON of laundry to do in general. I also need to go get some fabric- I'm recovering my cushions for my patio chairs. I planned on sanding and repainting those this week too, but I don't know if I'll get to it. Tomorrow I work at Rockstar and then RACHEL COMES!!!! YAYYY!! Thursday she's getting tattooed and I am thinking about finally getting my ribs finished. We'll see! She leaves Friday morning, I have the rest of the day to do whatever until work at 6. Then Saturday I leave early to go see my sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ecstatic, I can't wait to go. My plane leaves at 7:50 Saturday morning and gets into Baltimore at 9:05. She's got some stuff planned for us- I'm really excited. Also I get to see Colleen! She's arriving in DC on Friday so we are gonna meet up at some point (yay!). On Sunday, we're going to go to Kramerbooks and Afterwords Cafe which looks like it has some delicious breakfast! You know how I love breakfast. And it's one of Wendy's favorite bookstores. Joy. I leave there at 8:45 on Monday and get into Providence at 9:55. So we'll have 3 whole days. I am really looking forward to it. I'm going by myself, and I'm really looking forward to having the time with her without distractions.
