more money than brains
i am now among the ranks of those who owe more money than they make in a year.
why do we pay so much for supposed "higher education"?
do the all powerful they really think that because we're paying so much money for it, that we'll invest just that much more of ourselves in the effort of learning? i mean, if that's the case, then why don't we pay for kindergarten through twelfth grade? maybe if we did, we wouldn't have first graders being suspended for kissing.. fifth graders with eating disorders... ninth graders with suicide pacts... or twelfth graders who can't read.
but, that would make sense... wouldn't it.
