T-Day Weekend
Thanksgiving is a good holiday. Food and football, wow, fun. Stromoli, cheese sticks, pepperoni, bud light, orange soda, turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, stuffing, buscuits. Great holiday. The Cowboys losing was a very nice touch. That sets up a very exciting game tomorrow @4pm... G Men vs Seattle... and a VERY exciting game next week: Cowboys at Giants. I'll be there with bells on, but I'm not sure where I'll be attaching them on my Eli jersey.
So the Mets got Delgado. I like that, but I don't like giving up Jacobs and Petit. But I still like Delgado... if he goes 30, 100, .300. The Mets actually got the front page on the Bergen Record today. And the Yankees havent gotten on there in what feels like forever. They have the Mets dream line up for this season as: Reyes SS, Soriano 2B, Beltran CF, Delgado 1B, DWright 3B, Floyd LF, Bengie C, Xavier Nady RF, Pedro P. Now if we are dreaming here, why the hell is Nady still on the team? Besides, I'm currently awake and I'd rather have VD (Victor Diaz) in RF. And hell, if we were dreaming before, why cant Manny be in left, with Clifford in right? And Piazza can be platooning with Castro behind the plate. Now THAT'S a dream line up.
Terps are on ESPN in a little bit, fighting for a bowl game. Go Terps! Earn that bid to go to the.... Toilet(?) Bowl!!!! Piney is tellin me we could end up in Boise: The Smurf Bowl! Nothing beats a bowl game on fake blue grass.
