This last month has been hell on wheels. I have been on and off and I apologize. Work has been nuts and trying to get ready for graduation(s) has been tough. Gabe graduated 6th grade which still floors me how do I have a 12 year old?  Friday was my last day of work until September. Yes I am a teacher however I never take the summers off. This summer I am off not fun I might add. I am getting knee surgery on Wednesday ... yup the day before the 4th of July which happens to be one of my fave holidays. I fell a few years ago pretty bad and messed up my knee. I aggravate it every once in awhile and I did again in the beginning of June. I was dancing the "Gangnam Style" with my kids, put my foot down and my knee gave out. My aide caught me and I was hyperventilating by the time she had me sitting down. I got yelled at by her and my boss's mom and was told to get my ass to the dr.  So being the good girl who listens to her elders I went. I have a complete torn ACL and a torn meniscus. So Wednesday I will be having these issues repaired. I'm not gonna lie I am freaked out.  I have never been under before and that freaks me out. I had to go to the surgery center yesterday and I asked the nurse a million questions. She must have thought I was crazy especially when I asked if I would be wearing clothes during surgery. Lol. The only times I have been in the hospital was to have babies. So naturally I was wondering if I would be nude.

Good news is yes I will be off all summer. I can write, I can read all the fabulous stuff everyone has been writing, I work on stuff with my kids, I can be less stressed. Bad news is I am house bound for a bit. It's my driving leg so I wont be driving right away.

I'm nervous and I'm trying hard not to be. I hope everyone is well and enjoying their weekend!
