"i was born by the river in a little tent, oh and just like the river i've been running ever since"

we have these solar powered lights on the steps down to my house, and they're supposed to turn on when it gets dark. right now it is dusk and they're all flashing every second or so but not all at the same time and it's beautiful. ...they just stopped, but they're all off now. maybe it got lighter.

my neighbor gave me the book the prophet by kahlil gibran. it's awesome, and it showed up in walk the line, which i saw this week with my parents and sisters and brother-in-law. it's worth seeing.

yesterday sarah and i went to philadelphia and hung out on south street and then with my friend/bassist jon, who lives near the city. sarah and jon are cool. south street is like a giant hot topic or spencers although slightly less pathetic thanks to eastern-religion-oriented bookstores and repo records.

birds are my favorite animal, but fish are sweet too. being able to move easily in three dimensions seems cooler than being able to move in only two. although there is plenty to see on the surface.

aubrey, brux, jakebone: i think about you a lot. i'm sorry i'm not better at keeping in touch. and for other things.

peace out, killers.
