Some good news
I forgot to post...
So, last weekend was the Laire awards dinner. They had it at Dave and Busters in NY. I had to go home for my mom's bday and I agreed to dogsit. Scott came down and needless to say we did not drive the 2.5-3hours up for the dinner. I was nominated for an award but I don't go that often so I figured no one even really knew who my character was.
I found out when I came back that I had won "Best Portrayal of a Commoner"!!! I was soo amazed :)
I won a skill to use for once an event for a year, the Ducal No Ability, where I can refuse something a noble asks me to do. I also got a little laire goodie bag. It's a blue canvas bag with Laire and their motto embroidered on it. Indside was a roll of toilet paper, a pack of gum, a pen on a string, and a tag ring, all of these things very heavily needed at laire. It was so cute.
Laire is this weekend and I'm actually going, though it seems it will snow the whole time. What can I say, I'm insane.
