Some People Make Me Sick

Jun 22, 2011 16:37

Today I came across the video below. Watch it and be appalled at the depravity of some people. Bam Margera visits the crash site where his best friend and Jackass co star Ryan Dunn was killed in a car crash.
Roger Ebert's tweet, mentioned in the video, has caused outrage, but not so much as what so called 'fans' and visitors to the crash site have ( Read more... )

fans, ryan dunn, disgrace

It's shocking isnt it? I was linked to this video by a friend on twitter and needless to say, the upset and anger spread like wildfire.
It's bad enough that a news crew were there to film Bam's visit to such a tragic scene but to think that people may even profit from someone's death is beyond me.. eugh.

Arrgh, I wished that news crew to hell, this moment.
What did they do there...I know what they did, but I meant they didn't belong there in such a intimate saying goodbye moment.
I had tears in my eyes, felt so much pity with Bam and his company, whwerever they were.
Humans are the cruelest beasts! Animals following their instincts, but humans are greedily, calculating, nasty!!!
Hope ebay will discover them and gonna inform the police! As you said earlier!

Rude people!

hugs,
C

You can add "journalist asking 'How are you gonna get through this' just to make Margera cry even more while keeping him on the microphone to the disgusting list.
Though I really don't understand why he wouldn't even accept to being interviewed right in that moment?? I am going to think he was so upset he couldn't reason properly and understand that that press was there to scavenge, too, because otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

I, as a journalist, would have taken away that microphone and camera after the first second out of pity if nothing else. Tough I think I wouldn't even have been there in the first place. Bleh.

It sucks the lengths todays people and media outlets go to just to capture people in the worst moments of their lives.
I think, and feel free to disagree with me here, that Bam would have agreed to an interview at some point regarding what happened, but yes, maybe the news crew being THERE at that time and asking him then was a big step to far.
You're a journalist? Well that makes two us then..I write and submit to my local paper. As yet I count myself lucky I have not been asked to cover a sad and distressing story such as this...

I hope they do too.
I guess this clip just really demonstrates the depravity of the media in todays society...to them, there are no boundaries as to what they can and cannot get involved with, and that is just plain wrong.
I felt so bad for Bam I really did, and reading his and the other jackass members' tweets on twitter were just :-(
