I don't tweet, so I'm going to add my two cents on the Amazon.com fiasco here. Thanks to M.Z. for pointing it out and getting me sucked into the interwebs for hours today.
1) I hope Ellen Degeneres calls them up from her show to ask about it. They de-ranked her autobiography! S.P. also pointed out that Rachel Maddow should have some interesting commentary.
2) I don't really understand why this 'glitch' can't be fixed more quickly. Revert! Revert!
3) Books I didn't even fathom existed until this came up:
Hot Cougar Sex: Steamy Encounters With Younger Men
The Professional Bachelor Dating Guide: How To Exploit Her Inner Psycho
How To Be A Super Hot Woman
The Complete A**hole's Guide To Handling Chicks
Exercising The Penis: How to Make Your Most Prized Organ Bigger, Harder & Healthier
All of those, I should note, retained their ranking.
4) Whatever the actual reason for this mess-up, it sucks for you to be the first big company to get the LGBT folks riled up following Prop 8, because they are fired up and not about to put up with much of anything. Godspeed amazon, you're going to need it.
