There's a featured Special Report in MSU News about our faculty that presented at the AAAS this year in Chicago. That's cool, I was excited to read about what everyone is doing. It turns out we had six presenters, and they're ALL white men. What the heck? That clearly is not representative of the percentage of female scholars in the sciences we have here at MSU. Why is it that when we get to the elite science organizations, our school is represented by six white men? Grrr....glass ceilings need to get broken.
