After a nice breakfast which involved discussions of the functionality of shutters,
crackergate, and other interesting topics,
langostino and I headed to the campus Surplus store for an enjoyable morning of seek and find. I haven't been to surplus in months, and today they had a GREAT set of stock. Aside from the two Scanning Electron Microscopes, there was a wide array of broken scientific equipment, a box of sugar bins for cafeteria tables (some still had sugar and equal packets in them), a nacho cheese dispenser, and 3 fresh cream dispensers (I think they'd be great for boxed wine).
I went through the record collection, and picked up "How to Combat Poverty: The only way to completely eliminate poverty is by making sure we have a truly free market". If anyone has a record player and wants to listen to it with me, let me know, should be entertaining. I tried to convince
Langostino to pick up a urinal and make himself a
DuChamp for his livingroom, but he wouldn't go for it. Just as well, I don't think there was room in my car.
