Child-proof packaging

Is it just me, or is it virtually impossible to pop open cardboard food boxes along their perforations? I'm talking about mac & cheese, baking soda, corn starch etc...

This really just raises the question of why you're eating macaroni and cheese from a box.

Ugh. The noodles are mushy and the cheese is nasty. I don't see how it could possibly be any worse.

Please tell me you at least spruce it up a bit with some spices or salsa or something.

eh, sometimes i add peas and/or onions. and a little salt. but that's it. the cheese is great.
