I knew my chicken wrap seemed cheap. That's because it transformed into a chocolate chip muffin. Sigh.

I just had dinner at the new Palace of Jamaica place on Washington Avenue. It was DELICIOUS. Dinner costs $9.95 plus tax, and includes the main course, red beans and rice, cabbage, a fried plantain and what is essentially a hush puppy. I got the curried chicken, it was amazing. Falling off the bone, not spicy, just juicy and delicous. They also have jerk chicken, goat, oxtail, and some other stuff. And meat pies for $2 which you could pack for lunch. They don't really seem to have anything vegetarian as a main dish, but you can buy the sides or get a jerk salad. It's a little pricey but I will go back again in a few weeks. mmmmmmmm. definately made up for earlier.
