Wedding ][ To have and to hold...

JULY 6th;

When Andy woke up on the sixth of July, she was deeply, suddenly afraid that the thunderstorm that woke her was going to continue throughout the day, thereby ruining everything that they'd planned for the rest of the evening. Thankfully, they passed just before one, which is when she told Tucker that she was off to make herself beautiful and that he needed to find Kevin and stay out of the back of the house for the rest of the day.

The cake had been made, the rest of the desserts were being set up and the flowers arrived while she was off having her hair done. She'd taken a set of plumeria flowers with her for the hairstylist to weave into the braids and the woman had done a lovely job.

As soon as she got back to the house, Andy sat in the bedroom she shared with Tucker and admired the dress that her father had brought to the house with him that morning. At just twelve weeks, she wasn't showing enough to cause a problem, and the dress fit beautifully. It kept with the summer theme, it wouldn't be too hot through the evening, she could dance in it and it would come off easily later. As her sisters came in to fuss, she had a hard time keeping her secret from them, but she was determined to tell Tucker first.

At six o'clock in the evening, fifteen minutes after the last of the guests arrived, Andy was ready. Her dress was on, makeup was flawless, her hair was perfect and she was wearing the green cowboy boots that Tucker had bought for her. Of course she was. Her sisters had teased her, but she'd held firm; it was important to her that he knew that she was so happy to be marrying him.

The music started and she took her father's arm, telling him that she loved him before he told her that she was beautiful. As they walked down the aisle, she felt her emotions well up and her eyes began to water with unshed tears.

Everyone from Five-0 had come to the wedding, all of Tucker and Jameson's racing team, Andy's family from Jersey and the entire Jones clan. There were a lot of people in the backyard. Andy was touched that Mike had made the trip, too, and she blew him a kiss and gave him a wink as she passed him on the aisle.

As she stood across from Tucker, she whispered, "I love you," before the officiant began, then took a deep breath before her vows began. Her favorite part was listening to Tucker call her Andrea Jane, and it made her smile. She didn't cry, but she came through the entire thing without messing up her mascara (which Charlie was grateful for). When the officiant pronounced her Tucker's wife, she exhaled and thought - for the briefest moment - that she was going to faint.
