Blew Up on Roommate
Ok, so I blew up on Shaun again tonight. I really didn't mean to this time...we had a very nice evening just chatting and hanging out while I cooked us dinner. We were both in fine moods. But, then while we were sitting there talking, he picked up his phone and called A...the cheating loser bf. This is one of my biggest pet peeves...don't start a conversation with someone else when you're talking to me...I hate that!!!!! I got mad and very angrily told him to fuck off and went to bed.
Then of course, I felt bad and apologized via text message and then actually sat down and wrote him out a 2 page note explaining everything that is going on with me and why I am upset with him. I even told him that at the present moment in time I have no intentions of living with him if we get out of our lease and that I have been looking at studios and 1 bedrooms. I gave him the note and told him that I am going to bed and I'll talk to him in the morning.
Hopefully, now that I've explained why I've been upset with him and getting angry with him lately, he will start helping out around the house.
I did also explain that the reason the clean house bugs me so much is because I am obsessive compulsive. However, I also told him that I give everything a certain period of time and once it really starts to bug me is when he starts to see piles of stuff moved into his bedroom. So, he should now also know when I'm getting upset about stuff being left out forever. I really hope this makes things better.
