Labor Day Weekend

Haven't updated in a while, these past couple of days have been kinda crazy. I suppose I'll just do a quick run through of all the days. Friday I stayed in Cola, and met Dawn's beau Stephen, with a PH! It was nice to finally get to meet him after hearing about him. That night I went over to Whaley's, where the lovely Daniella W. made stuffed shells, my favorite and then to add, a vaniella cake. I played a drinking game with just boys, stupid Jersey, and got slammed within minutes. Dawn and Stephen came to my rescue to pick me up.

Saturday afternoon, I went to Columbia's Museum of Art with PJ. He had to look at one of the the paintings for his art class. It was free to get in, so I'm defintely going to be making a trip back, to go through the whole museum. Lately i've been feeling an urge to get back into "the arts". But I get that urge every year, so maybe its just my phase of the year. Who knows, we'll see. Anywho, afterwards we walked around down town, which is something I've also never done. I've found there is this one corner, that if you stand in just the right place, it feels like you're in New York. Tall buildings all around, one looking kinda new, the other looking very old and magestic. I have a feeling I'll be frequenting that spot when I get lonely for the Big Apple.

Lunch was at Rising High, never been there before either. Not bad food, but I need to go on a day that I'm actually wanting lunch. I wasn't really in the mood for turkey and what not that day.

When I got home, I threw all my stuff together really fast and left for my grandparents house. I had a nice conversation with my sister on the phone, it was just one of those days that it clicked. We were both seeing eye to eye and when she said to me, "I'm going, I'm bored," I wasn't even offended cause I too wanted to get off the phone so I could go listen and sing to my music. May sound weird to some, but the whole situation was perfect that day.

Got to my grandparents house just in time to go out on the boat. It was gorgeous outside and we spent a good two hours just cruising around Lake Murray. I even found the perfect spot to sit and read my book and still be able to look out over the lake.

Sunday I got up late and we went to Newberry to get stuff they needed for the house. This turned out to be a very eventful trip cause I got a key to the house!! It made me so happy. With everything happening back in jersey, to have someone where to really call my own right now is all I want. And I feel as that's what my grandparents house is really going to be for me until everything gets settled back in Jersey. It's so nice to have someone close by, just to go visit for a day. Someone who's known me forever and who has insight on everything going on in my life and who can really keep me grounded. I love that I have real grandparents finally.

Sunday night was ENTOURAGE night. Season finale baby. It was good, but not as good as last week's. Last week's episode still kicks major bum bum. Ari is the freakin' MAN! Let's hug it out! For those of you who don't watch, you wouldn't get it. So I baked a cake for the occasion and it was nice and yummy. I kinda messed up the writing but whatever. Daniella saved the day. We had a midget gathering and afterwards watched a bum load of Boy Meets World, season 3.

Ended up staying over there till 6:15 in the morning, it's a long story. Maybe got to sleep at 7 and then was woken up at 10:15 by Greg. Went with Greg to have waffels at Betsy and Emily's house and watch some more Entourage. I'm addicted, what can I say?

Slept for most of the day, finshed painting my room. It's about time, it only took me two weeks. I still don't like it and have a feeling by Christmas it will be a different color. That's just the way I role. Going to bed, have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. Got a lot of work I should have done today but didn't.

Happy Birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world, inside and out!! I love you Gus Gus! (It's my sister's 17th birthday!)
