Please help!

I have to write a research paper for one of my classes and I just realized that I have to get my thesis approved by my professor by Saturday. I have to write about a controversial nutrition topic, so it can't be something like...are vegetables good for you?

I read so much crap on nutrition and fitness that I honestly am having trouble figuring out what is still considered to be controversial. Most topics I've already researched so much that I think I know the answer to almost everything lol.

Also I'd prefer to think of something I actually care about so I won't be completely bored when I'm researching this for the next few months. I am considering a couple things right now:

1. Whether "net carbs" really make a difference or if it's all still carbs...don't really care about this because I just try to eat complex carbs so this doesn't matter in my case lol

2. Something about whether it's healthier to eat fat-free products that are filled with hydrogenated crap or whether it's better just to eat the regular products in moderation. Again, I feel like I have this figured out so I don't know if it's controversial.

So if anyone could help me figure out what to do my paper on, I'd really appreciate it. I have a 4.0 at this school right now, so I'd kinda like to keep it that way. Usually I wouldn't care so much, but this professor really scares the shit out of me and I am not easily intimidated. Sooo...I think I should have a kickass topic that he can't say no to and that he'd actually be interested in reading. Thanks!
