i'm really proud of you for realizing it early on! soooo many people dont even take a second glance at how messed up things are down there. have you noticed... Valarie does NOT bag ice? i know this, because i've opened before and i kept the freezers full to the top. valaries are always half way down. mornings are super slow... aaaannnndddd she's there an hour before the store opens. so why do we get stuck with 3 major projects to accomplish and then told we didnt do anything when we only get 2 done? anyhoo thats my main issue with valarie. i've never seen anyone else slack off, and she always finds something to do when i'm there, but the freezers bother me. she always tells me my closes suck, always threatens to fire me, and tells me that my best isnt good enough. i need to put in 110%. SHE of all people tells me not to talk on my phone or do homework. but she's on her phone even when i'm there. lalala i love the job. if the management and crap was better i think that i would enjoy it more. if they could pin-point what i was doing wrong and tell me how to fix it, i think i'd be okay.

I agree with you, I wish she would just tell me what about the closing was so wrong..but she wont..just said it was a bad closing and it was dirty. It was not dirty. grrrrrrr.Plus she didnt even tell me to my face she told someone else to tell me. Thats really stupid. And yes I have noticed Valerie doesnt bag ice, then theres tons for the closing people to do and she expects it to get all done. I agree with you, I like the job but I hate the management.

On a positive note todays pay day!! but they probably wont have them till like 8pm tonight..so I'll have to get it tomorrow.
