i feel like i've dropped of the face of the planet.
here's what's new in life:
i'm now officially teaching in the pre-k class. we still officially do not have a classroom. its a long story, but all you really need to know is that teaching without a classroom really really sucks. its actually a nightmare.
i moved a few weeks ago. now i'm living in a really nice two-story townhouse/condo/whatever you want to call it, north of greenlake. its probably the nicest place i've ever lived (aside from my parents' house of course). i'm really excited about living here for the next year.
amy (my roommate) got a kitten and named her nettle. nettle and charlie are getting along well so far - even though charlie does get rather irritated from time to time and did happen to pee on my comforter yesterday evening. i was not too happy about that. i have cute pictures of the two of them cuddling together, but they're not on my computer yet so i will post them later.
lots and lots of roadtrips this month.. last sunday elena and i went up to vancouver for a surprise birthday gathering for my mom. thursday i went to go visit my friends nate and debbie in portland. this upcoming weekend we're going to cannon beach for my mom's actual birthday. that's a lot of driving, but its been nice to get out of seattle for a bit.
by the way, for those who don't know, HBO on demand is the best thing ever. i'm going to go watch some more sex and the city. and then i'm gonna go to bed! maybe i'll post again next month or something - ha.
