Well then.
So, I must preface this by explaining that my computer is officially and completely dead. I turn it on and it shuts itself off, or, when its feeling playful, it will just load the first few things over and over again. That being said, I'm not sure how often I'm going to be able to get on-line in the next few weeks while I get "The Awful Piece of Crap" repaired. Ho hum.
Christmas treated me well. I got lots of clothes, a few horrible cds, a nifty leather jacket, my car (which I paid for almost all of) and some cash in my "moving" fund. See, I'll be leaving Jersey soon. Its for the best and will go a long way towards preserving my sanity, heh. The rents are being pretty good about and have offered to help me out. This is something I definitely was not expecting so its a nice surprise. My brother had wanted me to move into a place he'd found me in Cranford but "young married couples with small children" isn't exactly the atmosphere I'm looking for. Things are looking up though, I've got my eye on a certain place:)
Ryan finally managed to get to Jersey in the wee morning hours of the 28th, preceeded by Bev 8 days prior. Its always good to have Bev and Ryan around. They got to go the city the next day. I didn't. Have I mentioned that I'm afflicted by the "Demon Sickness From Hell?" I can't stop coughing and breathing is a fun little chore. Ah well. I'm overmedicated enough.
And so yesterday the four of us (Me, Liz, Bev, Ryan) head down to Baltimore. We picked up Bev's kitties as soon as we got in and rejoiced that they recognized their home and weren't too mad. They're both on the bed now, being cute.
After picking up some snacks this morning we returned here for some more quality loafing. Liz should be back from visiting her friend early tommorrow, then its time for a nifty New Years celebration. oh
