Saw that Fortunoff was having a going out of business sale, everything 60% off. I'm fully aware that one trick they pull when liquidiating a store is to say 60% off and say it's off prices they never charged. Harrows used to do this all the time with their after christmas sales. They;'d sell a set of lights for say... $20 normally. then after christmas it was 50% off of $35. That's a total joke and I refused to shop there before or after Christmas for pulling that shit.
I don't know whether to hope that Fortunoff is pulling the same trick or not. I saw a patio table and chairs that was $8900 originally now discounted to $3600. AUFKM? I wouldsn't pay $3600 let alone $8900. With prices like that, no wonder they went out of business. I mean, I know outdoor furniture can be expensive, but that's beyond highway robbery, it better come with a happy ending for that price. Hell it better come with a weekly happy ending.
What an $8900 patio table might look like. Umbrella is extra.
