Life After People
I've been watching this History Channel series tonight. I like it, but I think the tone is a little bit off. It treats the degree to which the Earth would recover from our passing as a tragedy, whereas I take comfort in the fact that we can't really damage the Earth as lastingly as we think. I'm against our extinction, but in favor of the idea that it wouldn't be the end of the planet.
