whitney biennial
In my distress over car-related issues (which persist!), I neglected to note that the Whitney Biennial on Saturday was awesome. A lot of great work, but I particularly enjoyed Matthew Brannon's letterpress pieces. They were beautiful prints, and I felt that the combination of graphic art and text achieved a uniquely literary effect that was both enchanting and disturbing, and definitely stood out among the other work in the Exhibition.
