Here's an excellent article on Baltimore's growing music scene. It raises the question of what draws a critical mass of musicians and artists to a city like Baltimore. Is it an "energy" or a "sense of friendship and cooperation"? Is it less competition and pressure? Or simply a more affordable cost of living?
