Oh what the future may hold
I’ve been contracting to a consulting company I really want to be hired by. At this assignment I have been working on a domain migration at a local huge hospital system. I work for a friend who is the area manager for this project.
The consulting company is owned by 3 people. 1 of these guys is here with us in our work area every day. He mentions that a bid they are going to win calls for international work to be done. How international? Well - If the country is advanced enough to have flush toilets, we’ll need to go there. He then looks at my friend and says, “Did you get Todd up to speed on this?” meaning, implying, hinting that he has ideas for me working out in the future and maybe even traveling for this project. That would be fantastic!
So now I need to study more MS stuffs and hope I fit the bill. It would be great to maybe meet some of my international friends.
