Somewhat Update
Nothing too exciting to post about but a few friends local (in the USA) like to know what’s up, so I’ll post.
1) I find the slang and banter on my UK friend’s LJ (Azron, CF, Colifox, FoxB, Plee and so on) very fascinating. The occasional cartoon in the USA where the American is totally confused when confronted in London by someone speaking in total slang is hilarious! I’m going to do my damn best to set plans to visit EF and Colifox I think. It will be nice to visit England.
2) This weekend was entertaining - I owe a couple of girls an apology for ditching on their birthday party Friday night. It was scheduled after the LARP, which ran to midnight. At 11:00pm I looked at my assassin counterpart and mentioned if we didn’t have a hit going now, we’ll run out of time before end of game so why wait? He agreed and we hit the road. I was VERY tired anyway.
I thought I would be up to it, but I couldn’t hang around for a party that started at midnight. The music was - uh - …….. Not my cup of tea up till then and had no promise of improving. Sorry girls, I’ll get you a bottle of wine or something. :)
3) I am playing World of Warcraft again. After teaming up with some hunters to do a repeatable quest (over 1000 times and counting) to get a certain faction rating up, I decided to try a hunter for a break. I made a Dwarf Hunter and it’s been a nice change and very fun. I’ll probably play this guy on and off since the play is so different. It’s odd playing a Dwarf, the quests are all new - I’d been playing a human so much I knew those quests inside and out. I still may run to the human part of the game to level a bit faster (lvl 13 so far). I chose a nice snow leopard for my first pet. I need to figure out how to name him / her. The game chose ‘Cat’. Feh!

Worth mentioning on Second Life I’m Xzadfor Tully, for people who want to look me up there.
4) I’m busy with prep work for my friends moving in downstairs. I want them to be happy and I want to accomplish everything I say I will.
5) It snowed last night. I woke up surprised and looked at my #1 cat Fiver and asked him why he didn’t wake me up earlier. He closed his eyes and sat there. Feh!
6) My truck has been a real workhorse. I’ve fixed a lot as it aged (155k miles) since 1999. Now the transmission seems to be flaking out some. It’s been a year of a little slippage so now I think I need to get it into a shop for a look. I’ll have to act poor so they don’t try to sell me a new transmission and transfer case off the bat.
7) Working on Wild Frontier has been really fun. In fact, since going to MFF, I’m really into drawing more. I need t practice up for FC in January.
8) Speaking of things I’m doing now, I’m working out some. Weight training and trying to eat less crap. I reward myself with computer games for workouts so I’m compelled to work out before I attach my ass to my office chair. So far so good.
