Red Patterned Dress
November 2nd... so many memories on this day. Today was the day in 1998 when my great grandpa passed away. Today is my grandma's birthday (happy birthday Grandma!). Two years ago today, Jordan told me he loved me for the first time (and it caught me way off guard, and my reply was, "Why did you say that?" just to make sure he meant it... because I wanted him to). Today is the day to vote. It's sunny out, and the trees are all in the state of confusion - some are still green, some are bare, some are beautiful shades of red and orange.
Well, I thrifted this dress the last time I went out. I fell in love with the pattern and the gold buttons. I also knew that I had been wanting to make a long-sleeved mini dress for quite a while :) and I couldn't pass up the perfect opportunity. Here's the before:
