people are dumbasses....seriously
okay, so all in all it was a pretty good day at work, just one thing that really angered me...not really angered me actually...more just made me think "what the fuck, your dumb"...the story continues....
I rang a guy through my register, his change came to ten cents, I gave him a dime. He then started walking away, and I began ringing in the next person. He then turned around and said in a not-so-nice tone "this is a canadian dime, I don't want this, give me american" so I said "okay" took the dime and put it on my register, and then kept ringing in the woman. I did this because once I have started a transaction, I can't open my drawer until the transaction is finished...the story continues...after a little bit, he says "you owe me a dime!!"(a little harsher than at first) I say "I know that sir, you'll have to wait until I open my drawer" I keep ringing through the woman, and then he yells "JESUS! SOMETIME TODAY WOULD BE NICE!" (holy fuck! its a DIME!!, anyway...) I look at him and say "sir...I cannot help it if you want an american dime instead of a canadian, you can spend them the same, and if its that big of a deal to you, you will have to wait until I open my drawer again" I then finished ringing the woman through, and gave him the dime, then he said "I gave you american, I expect american back" I then ignored him...I thought he was going to hit me, I kind of wish he would have, assault must be a pretty big fine, but anyway....
the rest of the day, was pretty good, it went by pretty fast, and I had fun working with Heather, Kayla and Tom....to add to mine and Jamie's soap opera, we now have a car, a house, and we like to take our kids to the park.
